Tutorial: Buy extension

Download the extension — Click the "Download" button (where the red arrow is pointing) to download the lazyapply 1.2.3 ZIP file (1.9 MB). This is the extension file you'll install on Chrome.

Copy your License Key — Click the "Copy" button next to the License Key (the red bar below). This will copy your key to your clipboard — you'll need to paste it later in the extension settings (in the Pro License Key field we saw earlier).

The red arrow is pointing to "Extrair Tudo..." (Extract All). This means the file is still a ZIP and needs to be extracted first. Click on "Extrair Tudo..." to unzip it.

After it extracts, you'll have a folder with the extension files inside. Then go back to Chrome's Extensions page, click "Load unpacked", select that extracted folder, and click "Selecionar pasta".

The red arrow is pointing to Extensions in the Chrome menu. Click on "Manage Extensions" in the submenu that appeared.

This will take you to the extensions page where you can enable Developer Mode and install the LazyApply ZIP file. Send me the next screenshot!

2. Load unpacked (top left) — Click this button. It will open a folder picker where you need to select the extracted LazyApply folder (the one you got from unzipping the ZIP file you downloaded from Gumroad).

You are inside the Downloads folder and you can see the lazyapply v1.2.3 folder (the red arrow is pointing to it). This is the extracted folder from the ZIP file.

Double-click on the lazyapply v1.2.3 folder to open it and go inside.

Now you are inside the lazyapply v1.2.3 folder, and you can see another folder called lazyapply (the first red arrow is pointing to it). This is the correct folder that contains the extension files (like manifest.json).

1. Click on the lazyapply folder to select it (it's already highlighted in blue).

2. Then click "Selecionar pasta" (Select folder) button at the bottom right (where the second red arrow is pointing).

This will successfully install the LazyApply extension on Chrome!

This error appeared because Chrome could not find the manifest.json file inside the folder you selected.

The error says:

• File: ~\Downloads\lazyapply 1.2.3
• Error: Manifest file is missing or unreadable. Could not load manifest.

This means you selected the wrong folder. The correct folder is inside lazyapply v1.2.3, not the outer one.

Here's what to do:

1. Click "Cancel"
2. Click "Load unpacked" again
3. Double-click lazyapply v1.2.3 to open it
4. Then double-click the lazyapply folder inside it
5. Only click "Selecionar pasta" when you see files like manifest.json inside — that's the correct folder

The folder structure should look like this:

Downloads → lazyapply v1.2.3 → lazyapply ← select THIS one

Check the first box (it's required — has an asterisk *) — it says you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

The second box (about receiving emails) is optional — you can check it or not, up to you.

Then click the "Continue" button.

Now you're on the main page of Google AI Studio. The red arrow is pointing to what you need next:

Click on "Get API key" on the left sidebar (bottom left of the screen).

This will generate the API key you'll need for your Chrome extension.

You already have an API key created! The red arrow is pointing to the copy button (the little clipboard icon).

Click that copy icon next to your key (the one that looks like two overlapping squares) to copy your API key to your clipboard. Save it somewhere safe — you'll need it for your extension.

1. Gemini API Key (the arrow is pointing to it) — Paste your API key here. This is the key you copied earlier from Google AI Studio. Click on that field and press Ctrl+V to paste it.

2. Pro License Key (the red box at the top) — Paste your LazyApply Pro license key here, then click Verify. You can get one by clicking the "Get LazyApply Pro →" link right below it.

3. Your resume is already uploaded (you can see the text preview at the bottom).

4. Once both keys are filled in, click the 🚀 Save & Activate button at the bottom to finish the setup!
